TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS
 
Logan International Airport. The Logan International Airport serves the Boston area, located approximately two miles from downtown.
 
Airport Shuttle. The Ultimate Shuttle costs $14 one way to The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers (approximately 20 to 40 minutes). Call 1-888-439-4391 or visit http://www.ultimateshuttle.com to make a reservation.

Taxi. All fares are based upon the occupancy of one to four passengers per taxi.  All fares departing Logan are charged an additional fee of $2.25, plus a $5.25 fee for harbor tunnel crossings.
 
Metered-rates from Logan to the Boston-area hotels range from $20 to $45 (approximate). Current fees are listed on Logan International Airport’s website, http://www.massport.com. It is recommended that you ask the taxi driver for a receipt. 
 
Subway. The MBTA subway station closest to the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers is the Arlington station on the Green Line. From the Arlington Street station (currently relocated to the Berkeley/Boylston intersection), walk one block down Boylston toward the public gardens, turn right onto Arlington Street, and the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers will be one block on your left.
 
From the airport, take the Blue Line toward Bowdoin, changing to the Green Line at the Government Station. For a subway map and information, visit the MBTA website: http://www.mbta.com.
 
Rail. Amtrak has scheduled train service to Boston from New York and other points in the Northeast Corridor. The trip from New York City takes 3 ½  hours on Acela Express trains, about 4 hours on other trains. The best stop for Boston is the South station, near the financial district and on the Red Line. Regional busses also stop at MBTA’s South station, and Commuter Rail lines stop at the North station and the South station. For information regarding Amtrak service, visit: http://www.amtrak.com; for other modes of transportation, visit  http://bostonusa.com and click on the “Visitors” link and then “Transportation.”

From Logan Airport: Follow signs to Sumner Tunnel/Boston. Take the ramp onto RT-1A S/William F McClellan Hwy.  Merge north onto Interstate 93 and take the Storrow Drive Exit (26).  Follow Storrow Drive and exit left at Back Bay/Copley Exit.  At lights, take left onto Beacon St, and then take an immediate right onto Arlington St.  The hotel is the 2nd building on the left after the park.
 
From the West: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte. 90 East) into the city.  Exit at Copley Square (22) and follow straight onto Stuart St.  Follow to the 5th set of lights and turn left for the hotel.
 
From the North: Take Rte. I-93 South into city.  Take the Storrow Drive exit (26) off of I-93.  Follow Storrow Drive and exit left at the Back Bay/Copley Exit.  At lights, take left onto Beacon St, and then take an immediate right onto Arlington St.  The hotel is the 2nd building on the left after the park.
 
From the South: Follow I-93 North towards Boston.  Take the Storrow Drive Exit (26) off of I-93.  Follow Storrow Drive and exit left at the Back Bay/Copley Exit.  At lights, take left onto Beacon St, and then take an immediate right onto Arlington St.  The hotel is the 2nd building on the left after the park.
