The system being introduced, MsCentral, is the same as that used by Social Forces, Sociological Perspectives and Gender and Society among other prominent journals. The decision to move in this direction has received the strong support of the Editorial and Publications Committee of SSSP as well as the Budget, Finance and Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.

Papers accepted for publication are subject to a fee of $100, which is waived for members of SSSP. The publication fee is also waived for graduate students or unemployed persons who are sole authors of accepted papers.
